We were invited by Aesop Singapore to create Roll Up pouches for their exclusive localized version of their collaboration with RÆBURN. The RÆMADE Adventurer Roll Up—a limited edition crafted from surplus aeronautical navigation maps—was launched exclusively through HBX, but in order to reach out to a local audience, Aesop Singapore held a launch initiative in their ION Singapore store on 2nd and 3rd May 2021.
Using the open source template and pattern created by RÆBURN, we streamlined and recreated pieces in store for their media and VIPs during launch, carrying on similar sustainable fundamentals as RÆBURN we created all the pieces using discarded and excess fabrics that we sourced from factories and old shops. At the same time, adding on a touch of personalisation to the experience, we also carried out embroidery of each customer's initials in store.
A week after the launch, this live sewing and embroidery event carried on to a selected group of customers that Aesop had received RSVPs from. The pouch was made to house essential items of hand and skin care, and can be made in a personal choice of repurposed fabric.
