An obi is a belt of varying size and shape worn with both kimonos and uniforms for Japanese martial arts. Traditionally it held the kimono in place around the body of the person wearing it, but has since been modernised to be an accessory to the kimono, and kimonos are often held in place with underlying knots below. In this case, we have repurposed the obis to instead be table runners, working as an accessory to your homeware and tables.
